Bacteria and fungi living at the fuel–water interface corrode tank structure, undermine sealant and clog filters and probes. We assess the growth, clean the tank to the manufacturer's procedure and treat it — at your location, with a documented before-and-after.

Microbial growth is a maintenance problem long before it is an airworthiness one. Any of these justifies an assessment.
Borescope and direct visual inspection of tank interiors, sump and low-point samples drawn and handed to you for laboratory testing, and a written report grading visible contamination against the manufacturer's limits with a recommended action.
Defuel, purge and confined-space entry; mechanical removal of biofilm and sludge; biocide treatment per the AMM; probe, compensator and sump cleaning; sealant inspection with spot repair; and a post-treatment visual check — with a sample handed to you for confirmation testing — before refuel.
Contamination often travels with a leak. If we find sealant damage or corrosion during cleanup, it is quoted and repaired on the same visit under our fuel leak repair and structural programs.
Most growth starts with water. An assessment at every heavy check — or whenever an aircraft has sat — catches it while it is still a cleaning job, not a corrosion repair.
Aircraft type, hours since last tank entry and a photo of the filter or drain. Assessment quote within one business day.
